Clanwilliam Health began providing residential aged care in 1970 with the acquisition of the Janolma Nursing Home in Greenslopes, a suburb on Brisbane’s south side. Now operating with four facilities across the South East, with plans to open a fifth centre near Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra (PA) Hospital in Woolloongabba, Clanwilliam Health has cemented its position as one of Queensland’s premier providers of aged care services.
Clanwilliam Health is a proudly family owned and operated business. The Potts Family, who established the business in 1970, remains at the helm to this day with assistance from its strong management team and their 100 years’ collective experience in the aged care industry.
In the years that followed, Clanwilliam Health has expanded its operation and reach to the aged care community through the establishment of three further facilities, each one signifying a renewed focus on the level and quality of care. In 1991 we acquired the Beenleigh Nursing Home, which was originally a local hospital, and then four years later, the Nerang Nursing Centre on the Gold Coast. In 2006, the Potts Family applied their passion for providing first class care into a purpose built, state-of-the-art aged care facility, Bethania Gardens.
Now with space for more than 340 residents across our four aged care facilities, and a fifth facility planned, Clanwilliam Health’s commitment to provide the community with high quality aged care solutions continues to be realised.
